On December 19, 2021, Niagara-on-the-Lake hosted its inaugural Santa and Elf 5K race, drawing dozens of  runners dressed in festive Santa suits. The race started and finished at Simcoe Park, winding through the picturesque countryside of this charming town. Fenway Breckels took first place, capping off a joyful day of holiday spirit and friendly competition.

After crossing the finish line, participants were treated to complimentary coffee and breakfast wraps at The Irish Harp Pub, the official host restaurant for the event. This inaugural race was a wonderful success, bringing the community together and spreading festive cheer, and it’s sure to become a new holiday tradition in Niagara-on-the-Lake!
