2023 NOTL Santa Parade

On December 8th, the magic of Christmas arrived early in Niagara-on-the-Lake with the annual Santa Claus Parade. Thousands lined the streets, enjoying the festive spectacle of floats, marching bands, and, of course, Santa Claus himself.

This year’s parade drew one of the largest crowds in recent memory, thanks in part to the unseasonably warm weather, with temperatures hovering around a balmy 15 degrees Celsius. The festive atmosphere was contagious, with families and friends bundled up in holiday cheer, enjoying the sights and sounds of the season.

The parade featured a dazzling array of floats, showcasing the creativity and holiday spirit of local organizations and businesses. Marching bands filled the air with joyous music, adding to the festive ambiance. And, of course, the arrival of Santa Claus on his sleigh brought smiles to faces of all ages.

The Niagara-on-the-Lake Santa Claus Parade is a beloved community tradition, and this year’s event was a resounding success. It was a reminder of the true spirit of the holidays – joy, togetherness, and the magic of Christmas.
