On August 18, 2023, the Niagara-on-the-Lake community gathered at the Meridian Credit Union Arena in Virgil to celebrate two exceptional individuals at the annual Sports Wall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

Paul French and Monty Slingerland were honored for their outstanding contributions to the town’s sports landscape.
